“A good neighbor is a fellow who smiles at you over the back fence, but doesn't climb over it.” ~Arthur Baer

Trust us when we say that we understand how distressing/infuriating a noisy neighbor or a disruptive neighborhood pet can be.  We also understand that it would be very helpful if we could solve this type of problem for people, and we are often asked to mediate in these situations.  Unfortunately, there is little that we can do as your property management company, as we are usually not the owners or managers of your neighbors’ property.  If your neighbors are disturbing your quiet enjoyment of your property, attempt to resolve the issue personally.  Write a little note or try to politely work it out with them. If the issue persists, the best step is to contact either the police or animal control, in the case of an animal disturbance. We will be happy to give guidance at our office in such a case, but please understand that, much as we wish we could do something about it personally, we may have to refer you to the proper means of handling the situation.  This comes not from an unwillingness to help, but from a reluctantly acknowledged limited authority. If we can help, we will.
